Happy Tails pet classes are currently held in Allonby and Crosby village halls.

We have small class groups to give plenty of time for one on one feedback.

 

These classes help the dogs learn the skills they need for life. We train dogs with games which earn them rewards, which then become their life habits. They learn to concentrate on their handler even though there are other dogs and lots of distractions around them.

​

Before joining these classes, I assess each dog individually. This is to make sure the class will be suitable for your dog and its current level of training.

​In the pet classes we practice

• heel work

• sit

• stay

• recall

• food manners.

We play fun games like go round a cone, scent searches and sit up or stand on a block.

 

We also include muzzle training for dogs who might need a muzzle at the vets or groomers. They practice wearing their muzzle in a fun and positive way, so when they visit the vets or groomers they feel safe and confident.

 

We include the Kennel Club Good Citizen training and Bronze, Silver and Gold awards
